In summer 2015 I was extremely honoured to be invited to give a public talk for the legendary Estonian radio-show Ööülikool (Night University), which has been broadcasting talks, lectures and memoirs of some of the most important thinkers this land has produced.
As my talk was recorded during the Viljandi Folk Music Festival, with its theme this year being Freedom, I entitled my autobiographical talk as 'Forester's Free Education'. My great grandmother was a forester somewhere along the Volga river during the 1930s.
